Thank You for Supporting Wreaths Across the Grove 2025

December 13, 2025 • Medal of Honor Grove • Valley Forge, Pennsylvania

On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Friends of the Medal of Honor Grove, thank you for your support of our annual Wreaths Across the Grove program. Your support plays an essential role in ensuring this sacred place of remembrance is cared for with the dignity and respect it deserves.

The Medal of Honor Grove, located on Founding Forward’s Valley Forge campus, which provides immersive civic education to students, teachers, and the community, encompasses more than 42 acres of natural woodland and stands as a living memorial to the 3,519 recipients of our nation’s highest military decoration. Dedicated areas honor recipients from each of the 50 states, Puerto Rico, and the District of Columbia, along with monuments recognizing Medal of Honor recipients without a home state and the nine military chaplains who have received the Medal of Honor.

Each year, Wreaths Across the Grove offers a powerful opportunity to pause, reflect, and honor these heroes. It also plays a critical role in sustaining the Grove itself. As the organization responsible for the Grove’s care and stewardship, the Friends of the Medal of Honor Grove relies on private donations and small grants to carry out this important work. Support from events like Wreaths Across the Grove helps ensure the Grove remains a safe, dignified, and welcoming place for visitors year-round.

While volunteers generously contribute their time and energy, the responsibility for maintaining and preserving the Grove depends on donor support. Your generosity helps ensure that this living memorial continues to reflect the honor and sacrifice of those it commemorates.

Thank you again for your meaningful support and for standing with us in honoring those who have sacrificed so much in service to our nation.

With sincere appreciation,

Friends of the Medal of Honor Grove

The Circle of Trees, located on Founding Forward’s Valley Forge campus, was
envisioned and planted by former members of the 7th Engineers as a place
of reflection, remembrance, and brotherhood. Each tree represents a Marine
whose legacy lives on—rooted in the shared values of courage, honor, and
commitment. We remember these thirteen Marines lost on March 28, 1967.
