Thank You for Supporting the 2024 Wreaths Across the Grove
On behalf of the Friends of the Medal of Honor Grove and Founding Forward, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for your support and participation in the 2024 Wreaths Across the Grove program.
Thanks to your generosity, this year’s program was a meaningful and inspiring tribute to the 3,526 Medal of Honor recipients and all who have served or continue to serve our country. Your donation and sponsorship helped ensure that the Grove remained a place of honor and remembrance during this special season, as we laid wreaths across its 40+ acres of living history.
The Impact of the Grove
The Medal of Honor Grove, located on the campus of the Founding Forward Foundation in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, is a unique living memorial. Dedicated to all Medal of Honor recipients, the Grove includes sections for all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and the District of Columbia, along with a special monument honoring Medal of Honor recipients with no home state and a Chaplains’ Memorial recognizing the nine military chaplains who earned the Medal of Honor.
Through programs like Wreaths Across the Grove, we ensure the stories of these extraordinary individuals are remembered and shared, inspiring visitors—especially our youth—to embrace the values of courage, sacrifice, and service.
Reflections from the Day
This year’s program was a touching reminder of the power of community and the importance of remembering our heroes. Volunteers, sponsors, and supporters like you came together to make this event possible. Wreaths were placed with care and reverence, each one a symbol of gratitude for the sacrifices made by those who have earned our nation’s highest military honor.
We are pleased to share photos from the event, showcasing the day’s activities and honoring the many groups and individuals who contributed.
Looking Ahead
Your support is critical to our mission, and we are grateful for your partnership. Together, we continue to honor the past, inspire the present, and ensure that the stories of Medal of Honor recipients live on.
Thank you once again for your generosity and commitment to the Grove. We wish you and yours a wonderful year ahead and look forward to seeing you at future events.
Sincerely,
The Friends of the Medal of Honor Grove
