We have moved to our raindate!

Tasks for April 13th

  • Plant trees, stake, water, protect, cardboard and mulch
  • Gather branches and stack by the roadways & chip them
  • Wash all ground plaques
  • Fix all deer protection throughout the grove as required. 
  • Replace any remaining fenced trees with single trunks at least 4′ tall with black pipe
  • Remove straps and stakes from recent year planted trees and return to pole barn
  • Mulch prior year trees as needed
  • Sweep/blow-off roadways as needed
  • Weed all red stone areas
  • Clean out gutters on the Educational Center building
  • Remove remaining sod and other debris with the tractor
  • Cut and split logs
  • Reset bricks & add sand in NC, NJ, NY, ME, KS, OR, & WY
  • Repairing some walkways to Obelisk; removing old flagpole bases

What to Wear

  • Appropriate footwear for the woods
  • Appropriate clothing for the woods
  • Work Gloves

What to Bring

  • Water
  • Bug spray (optional)
All minor children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
