The Medal of Honor Grove, located on Founding Forward’s campus in Valley Forge, PA, is the nation’s OLDEST LIVING MEMORIAL to the recipients of our nation’s highest military honor: The Medal of Honor. The Friends have been its stewards since 2011 and hosted this event since 2014; the Friends are partnering with Founding Forward to co-host this year’s event. On December 14, please join us to place Christmas Wreaths at each of the 52 obelisks, 2 territory obelisks (Puerto Rico & District of Columbia), the Chaplains Memorial, the AOH memorial, the Gold Star Families memorial, the Pentagonal Memorial, the Circle of Trees, the Lincoln Statue, and the Kennedy Gazebo within the Grove as well as the Washington at Prayer monument, the Washington on horseback monument, the Founding Father’s monument and the Chapel on Founding Forward’s campus. This is our way to honor the fallen and all 3,519 Medal of Honor recipients.

You can help us by sponsoring a wreath for a specific state or memorial, making a donation in any amount “in honor of” or “in memory of” a loved one, or becoming a program sponsor. Your name, the state and/or person for whom your donation was made, or your program sponsorship level will be included in a program booklet that day. Please join us for a short program before we distribute wreaths, followed by a reception in the Galleria with light refreshments. This event is rain/snow or shine.
